Chris Hayward serves as Partner and President of Del Mar Ventures Group, LLC, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction, oversees its investment portfolios, and guides the execution of development initiatives across the United States. With over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and commercial construction, Chris brings a seasoned, growth-oriented approach to every facet of the business.
Throughout his career, Chris has sourced, developed, and managed real estate projects totaling millions of dollars in value across all 50 states. His expertise spans a wide range of asset classes—including retail, office, multifamily, industrial, and distribution – positioning Del Mar Ventures as a dynamic and diversified player in the national market.
Following the passing of his father and company founder, Larry Hayward, in 2023, Chris assumed full leadership of Del Mar Ventures, continuing a legacy of entrepreneurial excellence and operational integrity. His leadership reflects a deep respect for the company’s roots, paired with a forward-thinking vision focused on long-term value creation, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Chris is deeply committed to community engagement and philanthropy. He currently serves on the board of PCH 50, an organization that supports Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and is actively involved with FOR OTHERS—a nonprofit dedicated to mobilizing resources and relationships to serve vulnerable communities through faith-driven initiatives.

Hope oversees the execution, accounting, and ongoing due diligence for the firm’s private equity real estate portfolio. With 15+ years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, mergers and acquisitions, and vendor relations, Hope brings a strategic and detail-oriented approach to operational leadership. She has built trusted partnerships and managed hundreds of millions of dollars in assets for corporations and clients across the United States. Her role spans both corporate and property-level operations, including financial oversight, and administrative systems that support the firm’s nationwide portfolio.

Chris brings deep expertise in estate planning, tax strategy, and long-term wealth preservation—ensuring that investment decisions align with broader financial goals and generational outcomes.
