Larry Hayward is CEO and Managing Partner of Del Mar Ventures Group, LLC. DM Ventures is a Real Estate and development company with projects throughout the Western United States. Their developments include retail, office, multifamily, manufacturing, light industrial and distribution categories. Prior to founding DM Ventures, Mr. Hayward served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Leslie’s Poolmart, Inc. from the years 2000-2018 and built the world’s largest retailer of swimming pool supplies with over nine hundred retail stores and 1,250,000 square feet of distribution and manufacturing facilities. Prior to Leslie’s, he served as President and CEO of Carr-Gottstein Foods Co. in Anchorage; Alaska’s largest food and drug retailer and wholesaler. Throughout his career, he held senior-level positions at Buttrey Food & Drug and American Store’s companies while in Salt Lake City, Utah. In addition, Larry has served on various Boards of Directors including Petco Pet Supplies in San Diego, AZ, Rosauers Supermarkets in Spokane, WA, and Sletten Construction Company; a large Western US construction company headquartered in Montana. He has also served on various community boards including Boys & Girls Clubs of The Valley in Phoenix, AZ, and MD Anderson Cancer Center Board of Visitors based in Houston, TX. Larry remains active and involved in various community and charitable organizations.

Chris is responsible for the overall leadership of Del Mar Ventures Group and the investment portfolios. He brings over 15 years of strategic real estate and commercial construction experience. He has sourced, built, and managed millions of dollars of various real estate across more than 35 states. Chris also oversees new investment evaluation and execution. Chris currently serves on the board of PCH 50 which supports Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
